Sajni Shah

Founder & President

Hello! My name is Sajni Shah, and I am currently studying Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University. The idea for Bridging Care grew from both caring for my grandparents and volunteering at a local hospital serving an underserved community. I saw firsthand the emotional and financial hardships seniors face in accessing medical equipment and adult incontinence supplies—essentials that restore comfort, dignity, and independence. While volunteering at the hospital, I witnessed new mothers lacking postpartum essentials and discharged patients leaving without the basic resources they needed to recover safely. I also saw that many individuals and families from underserved communities struggle with food insecurity, and how access to nutritious food is essential for a healthy lifestyle. Determined to bridge these gaps, I launched Bridging Care, supporting seniors, new mothers, discharged patients, and families in underserved communities by providing essential medical supplies, recovery resources, and basic necessities—bringing relief, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.
